R1: Win in three for Breanne against Nadia, but so close

Very intense.

I’ve really delighted to come through that 3/0, it was really tight, a bit scrappy 11/9, 12/10 or something. We are both very tall, both of us 5’11, we both take big steps to the ball, it’s natural to get in each other’s way.

For the most part, we got out of each other’s way, but it can be a bit tense, you can feel crowded, and just trying to get your length feels like a bit of a battle.

Really happy I didn’t let my emotions get the better of me, I stayed focus, concentrated, tried to stick to my game plan the best I could. She is a really nice girl, a good player, just some matches go like that.
