I wanted to win, go out there and take it to her for sure.

I knew if I played well that I could win, but it was a question of staying patient and keeping believing I could win the match. But it was really down to the wire!

It was very up and down, I just told myself, hang in there, hang in every point.

I was trying to get my length better than yesterday, I was moving well yesterday I thought, but I wasn’t hitting my targets as well, so today, I did that better.

She really mixed up the pace very well, lobs, slowing down the pace, and then she would do hard low kills, and she is very talented with the racquet, her short game is very impressive. She put me under a lot of pressure, and made me run a lot, luckily, I love that part of the game!!

I wanted to stay in front of her, and I was on the volley a lot of the time, and that gave me a lot of opportunities and that won me the match at the end.
